Sam C. Williams, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has practiced psychology in North Carolina for over 25 years. He is also an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist who provides consultation to area businesses and industries. Dr Williams received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wofford College and East Carolina University. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Georgia and completed his clinical internship at Duke University Medical School. He has held a position as Adjunct Assistant Professor at East Carolina School of Medicine, served as from President of the North Carolina Association for Advancement of Psychology, and served on numerous civic and organizational boards. Dr Williams provides clinical treatment and counseling for a variety of problems facing adolescents, adults, couples and families. Areas of special interest include marital problems, depression, anxiety and self esteem issues.

Harold
J. May, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical and counseling psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. Dr. May received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Georgia and completed his clinical internship at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He is a former Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the ECU Brody School of Medicine, and has served as President of the North Carolina Psychological Association. In addition to his general adult and forensic practice, Dr. May has expertise in the areas of trauma, teen and childhood behavioral problems, high conflict separation and divorce, and psychological aspects of physical illness.

Elaine Franzetti, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. Ms. Franzetti obtained her undergraduate degree from Chapman University and her graduate degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. She is licensed by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board and certified in clinical supervision by the National Association of Social Workers. She is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers. Her focus is on the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma and grief issues. Ms. Franzetti’s specific areas of interest are adoption-related issues, domestic violence, childhood abuse issues and women’s issues

Louise G. Blanton, M.A., L.P.A. is a licensed psychological associate specializing in psychoeducational assessment, forensic and court-ordered assessment. Mrs. Blanton obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of California at Santa Barbara. She received her Master’s degree at Western Carolina and completed her internship at Broughton State Hospital and Foothills Mental Health Center in Morganton, NC. She is licensed by the NC Psychology Board as an LPA. |
Alyssa Sugar, MS, LPC, LCAS is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults with substance abuse or alcohol problems. Ms. Sugar received her undergraduate degree in English from Sonoma State University in California. She received her dual masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Substance Abuse Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University. In addition to working with addiction disorders, Ms. Sugar has expertise in the areas of post traumatic stress disorder, stress and anger management, and anxiety disorders. Ms. Sugar is also a Registered Yoga Teacher with the National Yoga Alliance and has been teaching preventative health and relaxation in the community for ten years. |
